Day 01: Arrival in La Paz.

 

Reception at the airport or bus station and transfer to your hotel in the city of La Paz.

Day 02: La Paz Cultural City Tour (B)

 

Breakfast at the hotel.

In the morning, we will visit the Moon Valley, an impressive geological formation located near the city, with a landscape that resembles the lunar surface. Upon arrival, we will take a walk of approximately 15 to 20 minutes. After the visit, we will board our transport and head to the cable car station, where we will enjoy spectacular views of the city, built between mountains.
Next, we will visit Plaza Murillo, surrounded by the main political buildings of the country, including the Government Palace. We will continue the tour to the Witches’ Market, famous for its shops selling amulets and esoteric objects linked to the Andean worldview and culture.
At the end of this fascinating experience, we will return to the hotel.

 Day 03: La Paz – Sucre – City Tour (B)

 

Breakfast at the hotel.

Early in the morning, we will transfer to the airport or bus station to begin our journey to Sucre. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel.

In the afternoon, we will start our tour along the main avenue, where we can admire various iconic monuments of the city of Santa Cruz.

We will continue to the Main Square, considered the heart of the city. In front of it stands the Cathedral, which houses the Museum of Sacred Art, a place that showcases artworks in wood, fabric, and silver, as well as paintings and ancient books, all linked to the religious history of the region.

Next, we will enjoy a stroll through the artisan market, an ideal place to discover a wide variety of local products, from crafts to typical souvenirs. It’s an excellent opportunity to immerse ourselves in the culture of Santa Cruz.

Our last stop will be the Santa Cruz History Museum, where we will explore the rich history of the city, from the colonial era to the present. Finally, we will return to the hotel.

Day 04: Sucre – Cretaceous Park – Potosí (B)

 

Breakfast at the hotel,

Early in the morning, we head to the Cretaceous Park, where you will walk among actual dinosaur tracks. Located in the heart of Sucre, Cal Orcko houses the world’s largest collection of footprints: over 5,000 tracks dating back 68 million years.

This site is a true journey through time, featuring a limestone wall that preserves more than 12,000 footprints. A fascinating highlight is the 347-meter trail of a juvenile Tyrannosaurus rex, famously known as “Johnny Walker.”

Cal Orcko transports you to the Late Cretaceous period, just before the extinction of the dinosaurs, offering a unique opportunity to relive this prehistoric era. After the visit, we return to Sucre (lunch not included). In the afternoon, we take a bus to the historic city of Potosí, where we will spend the night at the hotel.

Day 05: Potosí – City Tour – Uyuni (B)

 

Breakfast at the hotel.

We will visit the city of Potosí, located at the foot of the imposing Cerro Rico, a city that has been declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

We will begin our tour at the Casa de la Moneda, one of the most important museums in the country, which holds the history of coin minting during the colonial era. After that, we will explore the historic center of the city, walking through its main streets and admiring the monuments that recall its glorious colonial past.

We will conclude our tour at the main square and its surroundings, where we can enjoy the impressive facades of the San Lorenzo and San Francisco churches.

In the afternoon, we will transfer to the bus terminal to take a regular bus through various valleys, ascending the highlands until we reach the city of Uyuni and then proceed to your hotel in Uyuni.

 Day 06: Uyuni – Thunupa Volcano (B, L, D)

 

Breakfast at the hotel.

Early in the morning, we begin with the pickup from the hotel to head to the Train Cemetery. Here, you will discover the historic locomotive depot, a result of the rapid decline of the railway that operated between Uyuni and Antofagasta since 1899, until its definitive closure in 1993.
Next, we will visit Colchani, a small village on the shores of the Salar de Uyuni, where salt is extracted in a traditional way. The Salar, with its 12,000 km², is the largest salt flat in the world and one of the largest reserves of lithium.

Then, we will arrive at Isla Incawasi, famous for its giant cacti that grow over 10 meters high. From its summit, you can enjoy a panoramic view of the Salar. Free time to explore.
In the afternoon, we head to Coqueza, at the foot of the Tunupa Volcano, where we will explore the area.

Day 07: Volcano Thunupa – Desert – Laguna Menores (B, L, D)

 

Breakfast at the hotel.

Today, we will venture into the vast desert areas to explore the stunning high-altitude lagoons: Laguna Honda, Laguna Cañapa, and Laguna Hedionda, each with a unique and indescribable beauty.

We will continue our journey toward the Siloli Desert, one of the driest places on the planet, where the famous “Stone Tree” stands, surrounded by other rock formations sculpted by erosion.

The final stop will be at the Laguna Colorada, known for its fascinating reddish hue, home to a large population of Andean flamingos.

This will be a tour where the desert and the lagoons will gift us a sense of peace and serenity, allowing us to feel in the middle of nowhere, surrounded by natural grandeur.

Day 08: Desert (Eduardo Abaroa Reserve) – La Paz (B, L)

 

Breakfast at the hotel.

Very early in the morning, we will depart for the geysers, where we will observe boiling water pits emerging from the ground, creating a surreal atmosphere that feels like something from another planet.

Next, we will head to the hot springs, where we can enjoy a relaxing bath surrounded by a spectacular landscape.

Our next stop will be the Green Lagoon, located at the foot of the impressive Licancabur Volcano, whose intensely green waters have a magical aura.

Following that, we will make a stop at the Dali Desert, a unique place named after the vibrant-colored mountains that evoke the works of the famous surrealist painter.

Finally, we will return to Uyuni, concluding this incredible journey through otherworldly landscapes. Arrival in Uyuni and transfer to the airport, flight to La Paz, and transfer to your hotel in La Paz.

2.- Rates:

  • Rates valid until December 2026- Rates are expressed in US dollars (USD).
  • Rates subject to change without prior notice according to availability and rates, please consult with your executive before confirming availability.
  • Rates per person based on 02 passengers, additional cost per individual traveler.
  • Rates include charges for credit card payments.

3.- The programs are quoted in the standard room category of the hotels, for higher categories, please contact us.

4.- It is the responsibility of each passenger to have the required documents for his/her trip, in force (with more than six months of validity after the end of his/her visit to our countries) and in good condition. As a general rule, these include, for each passenger, passport, identity card, for countries that exceptionally allow entry with this document in replacement of the passport, visas when required, for countries in transit and destination countries, and certificates of certain vaccinations, for countries that require it, the passenger’s travel document must be the same with which he/she confirmed his/her reservation.

5.- Check in and check out times are set by each hotel. In general, rooms are available for check in from 3:00 PM and check out must be before 12:00 PM. Later departures may mean additional charges, it is important to follow the recommendations of the assistant who accompanies you at the time of check in at the hotel and / or ask at the hotel the respective schedules in case it is not published at the front desk.

6.- The requirements for double rooms (double or twin beds), triple rooms, extra beds and/or cribs are subject to confirmation by each hotel.

8.- Tourists are obliged to conduct themselves respecting the rights of people, the environment, the cultural and natural heritage of our countries, as well as the multi-ethnic conditions, beliefs, customs and ways of life of the inhabitants of the localities they visit.

9.-It is strictly forbidden to engage in conduct that interferes with the safety and comfort of the other participants of the group, such as the consumption of drugs and alcohol. The use of female or male escorts (prostitution) is not tolerable within a trip, the use of minors for this type of services is penalized by the authorities. DMC PERU AGENCY protects the integrity of minors and adolescents.

Itineraries. – The itineraries have been planned with great care, although for operational reasons, climatic or political factors or any other eventuality it may be necessary to change the sequence of activities in the itinerary or the specified route; such cases are exceptional and the passenger will be informed.

In order to improve the tourists’ experience, the order of the excursions may vary.

Services not included. – The passenger is responsible for all administrative formalities such as: Obtaining and updating passports, visas, travel insurance, payment of excess baggage, beverages, laundry service, communication (calls, faxes, e-mails, etc.), domestic and international airport departure taxes, tips or other services and fees not specified in the itinerary.

Services not used. – Some services may be interrupted or canceled due to weather conditions, force majeure such as acts of nature, social upheaval, strikes, etc., or others beyond the control of the hotels, airlines, other suppliers or DMC PERU AGENCY. No reimbursement shall be made as a consequence of such interruptions or cancellations beyond our control. DMC PERU AGENCY will at all times assist the passenger and modify the itinerary for the passenger’s benefit, as well as provide permanent assistance.

Insurance. – We recommend passengers obtain trip cancellation, repatriation and international medical insurance to cover any discomfort that may arise during the trip. We also suggest that you consult with your doctor and update your vaccination records and review any medical concerns regarding international travel.

Airline Tickets. – 100% payment is required for ticket issuance. Fares are subject to availability and only the final price is guaranteed with the purchase of the ticket; refunds, changes allowed/not allowed, penalties applied and not applied are in accordance with airline policy. Tickets are non-refundable or non-endorsable in case of cancellation.

Baggage Responsibilities. – DMC PERU AGENCY recommends that all passengers arrive in Peru with their own travel insurance, and that they have coverage for lost luggage. DMC PERU AGENCY cannot be held responsible for: – Luggage lost or delayed during domestic or international flights, as well as carry-on items, or personal items. – Objects forgotten by passengers in hotels, vehicles, or places visited during the trip. – We recommend our passengers not to include any valuable items in their checked baggage during transfers and flights.
